In these busy times we find ourselves in, there is usually a spectacular balancing act being performed behind the scenes. For each step you take in one direction, you have retreated from another. That’s what makes choices so important.  Like Superman, we are ripping off different costumes throughout our day, a business suit hiding a soccer uniform that overlays a chef’s apron, togs, tool belt and medicine pouch. We deserve an Oscar for our roles.  Our choices are pulsing with consequence.    

Being so busy, is it possible to be delighted with all areas of your life? Can a person get the balance right?  Of course it’s possible.  The solution is not a big secret. You just have to delegate what you can.  

When you need to lose some weight you see a personal trainer or a dietician. When going on holiday you visit your travel agent. You see a tax expert for your accounts and a real estate agent when buying a house. So why not see a Matchmaker if you are not meeting the right single people?

There are dating agencies all over NZ.  It’s like a buffet of single life.  You can walk up and try a slice of speed dating, then heap on a helping of specialised introductions for professional, like minded people.  Maybe for dessert you’ll sneak a little dating for outdoor enthusiasts.  It’s all there, you just have to take the plunge and give something new a try.   

In this busy life of ours we have friends and family, work and hobbies – all of which take up most of our time. Your love life can easily take the backseat.  So if there are no opportunities to meet other single people, meet with a Matchmaker, and explain what you are looking for.  They will tell you if they have those types of single people on the books, and from there you can start meeting the single people of your choice! Sounds easy because it is!
