Dating In lockdown

Well here we are again! Dating during lockdown. It can be done!

2020 was an eye opener for all of us and I don't think many of us knew what was going to happen with work, hobbies, sports, family, let alone meeting new people and finding a partner.

For Two’s Company, I thought about all the advice I had been giving out over the last 18 years of business and saw how this was a great opportunity for singles to meet new people and not judge on face value alone.

First dates kept happening during the 2020 lock down and the response was amazing.

Clients were spending more time getting to know each other over the phone and texts during the day, before leading into a catchup via video.

I think at the time people were more humbled and therefore more open to possibilities.

So here we go again!

I caught up with some of my newer couples on the weekend to see how they were getting along and the feedback was inspiring.

Check it out . . .

“Things are going really well with him, we're in touch every day and usually for hours at a time. Although it's frustrating we haven't been able to see each other in person since our first date (lockdown scuppered our plans for a re-match) there's something quite romantic about discovering what makes someone tick through words alone.”

“Funny I was just thinking about you. You read my mind! Things are going really well! He’s pretty amazing actually. The only trouble we’re having is lockdown which is really hard. But we talk every day. He’s a gem. “

“Yes she is amazing, intelligent and we talk all the time txt all the time. All I can say she is stunning and as a person the best I have ever met. Covid is making it a little difficult but we are doing really well through it, so once again I thank you for letting us meet each other. I'm the happiest I have ever been, thank you Sasha.”

“Hi Sasha - good to hear from you. Hope you are keeping well. She is beautiful inside and out. We have been a couple for the past four weeks now. Really enjoy spending time with her in our bubble. Many thanks for all of your work.”

“Thanks for checking in - I’m doing really well all lockdown things considered. He is still amazing …he has all the qualities I didn’t think even existed in men anymore. Super lucky to have had him come into my life.”
